How to Configure Your Internet Connection For The First Time (Using Regular Modem/Phone Line Connection) |

Step-1: Click on Start, Programs, Internet Explorer. |

Step2:
1.Click on I want to set up my Internet connection manually.
2.Click the Next button. |

Step3:
1.Click On I connect through a phone line and a modem.
2.Click the Next button. |

Step4:
1. In the Area code and Telephone number text box, type the local phone number that was given
to you by bangla.net.
2. Click the Next button. |

Step5:
1.n the User name text box, type your username (given to you from bangla.net by your customer consultant) Example: yourname@yourcompany.com.
2.In the Password text box, type your password (given to you from bangla.net by your customer consultant - Please Note: your password is case sensetive.
3.Click the Next button. |

Step6:
1.In the Connection name text box, type bangla.net.
2.Click the Next button. |

Step7:
1.Click Yes If you want to set up your email account.
2.Click the Next button. |

Step8:
1.Check Create a new Internet mail account. This is your choice if your computer has never connected to the Internet.
2 .Click the Next button. |

Step9 :
1.In the Display name text box, type your name. Example: rumu
2.Click the Next button. |

Step10:1.In the Email address text box, type your Email address. Example: yourname@yourcompany.com
2.Click the Next button. |

Step11 :
1.When asked: My incoming mail server is a ? server. Choose POP3 from the pull down list.
2.When asked: Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: Type in mail.bangla.net in the text box.
3.When asked: Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: Type in smtp.bangla.net in the text box.
4.Click the Next button. |

Step12:
1In the Account name text box, type your username (given to you from bangla.net by your customer consultant) Example: yourname%yourcompany.com (be sure to use the "%" sign, NOT the "@" sign in this box.
2. In the Password text box, type your password (given to you from bangla.net by your customer consultant).
3.Check Remember password (optional).
4.Click the Next button. |

Step13:1. Check this Box to connect to the Internet.
............2.Click the Finish button. You are ready to use your Internet! |

How to restart your Internet/Email programs next time: |

Next time, just click on the A or B to start Browsing the Internet or C or D to start your email program. |
